Provider selection is crucial
The first step is to decide whether one or more service providers should be commissioned with the implementation. It is usually more cost-intensive to have everything handled by one provider because he has the international network. On the other hand, the option to use different service providers entails higher demands on communication and coordination.
The question of technical implementation is also a decisive factor: an external technology provider offers advantages in coordination, but site-specific expertise may be lacking. Local providers, however, score points with site-specific expertise, but may work with different technologies. Bottom line: There is no perfect option. Companies have to decide on a case-by-case basis which option makes sense for them.
When choosing the right framework, corporate culture is a decisive factor. It is advisable to consider which solution can be implemented most efficiently and with the best chance of success.
All in all, there are a number of aspects to consider in order to filter out the adequate solution. The focus should always be on controlling costs and considering the organisational structure. HRGlobal offers a multi-stage consultation process to help clients make the right decision.
The consulting process starts with an initial meeting to agree on specific needs and location requirements. For us, this phase is about formulating an initial vision together with the client.
Searched for: The best individual solution
In the second step, we analyse the current situation and develop suitable solutions. There are several variants in different price and service segments: fully automated processing, for example by ADP, Immedis and weconnect, or offers from well-known industry giants such as KPMG, Deloitte, EY and PwC usually represent the top tier offer. However, these services are neither affordable nor necessary for every company. That is why we involve service providers from other segments whose range of services fits the company’s requirements – from BDO, Rödl & Partner, WTS, ETL or Ecovis to small networks that also offer international presences.
A selection is made taking into account the parameters worked out in the initial consultation. Clients benefit from our strong network and numerous personal contacts. In this way, we guarantee fast processing.
Focus on time, costs and feasibility
At this stage, we have formulated precise objectives together with the client: What is desired? And what possibilities exist to implement these ideas? The narrowed-down initial selection is presented to the company stakeholders who make the decision. In the process, we evaluate the various options in terms of costs, feasibility for corporate culture and structure as well as time required.
This feedback allows the client to initiate dialogue with service providers, fine-tune details and obtain final offers. Since client’s requirements have already been discussed and evaluated, they are readily available in an adapted and comparable form. We put great emphasis on presenting the offer situation transparently. This gives the client the opportunity to make an informed decision based on our advice. Before the final decision is made, two to three suitable finalists are given the opportunity to present their services again.
As soon as a service provider is awarded the contract by the client’s management, the contract is negotiated, and nothing stands in the way of implementing the concept.
We give you a jump-start
We support the implementation of the selected system through workshops, staff training, documentation and continuous communication with all parties involved. For a start-up, the entire process can be implemented in three months. It includes the initial consultation, selection of service providers, contract negotiations and implementation, including go-live at all locations.
